Location ~ If you think you would like to take private classes with me, but don't live in the Greater Vancouver Area, this is a wonderful solution! With Skype, I can teach you no matter WHERE you live as long as you are able to make and receive Skype video calls!
Privacy ~ Taking classes via Skype gives you complete privacy. You can take the class in your jammies in your living room if you want!
Attention ~ You'll have my undivided attention which means that if you're holding a particular pose and something just isn't feeling right, we can stop on the spot so you can ask your question. You are in complete control of the flow of the class.
Personalized ~ Just like my live private classes, your sessions will be designed according to YOUR goals!
Progress at Your Own Pace ~ Your practice will develop and grow according to YOUR pace, not the pace of a group or class. So if you are ready to kick it up a notch, we can. If we're going too fast for your comfort, we can back off. It's all up to you.

How does it work?
Simple! You just contact me and let me know you're interested in private Skype classes. We'll set a time for a free Skype info session to discuss the particulars, such as how many sessions you're interested in, scheduling, what your goals are, and any specific requirements you might have. We'll make payment arrangements (via Paypal) and then I will create your custom classes to address your goals!
During our sessions, you'll be able to see me and I'll be able to see you! I can direct you in and out of poses based on what I see and that includes helping you to correct and improve your alignment. I will demonstrate the poses and have visual aids to help you learn. You'll quickly find that Skype classes are a convenient way to get all the attention of a private in-person session but in a more convenient format.

What equipment is required?
You'll need a computer with high-speed internet access, a decent web-cam, and a Skype Account so that we can set up the calls. You'll also need access to your own Yoga mat, any props you would like to have available, and loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to wear during our sessions.
When you have your free info session we can go over some alternatives to store-bought props that can work during our sessions, so don't feel like you have to invest a ton of money on accessories to get started. You don't. :)

How much does it cost?
My rate for private Skype sessions is $75/hour. For six sessions, my rate drops to $50/hour! If you're interested in a longer set of sessions, please get in touch with me to discuss pricing options.
I recommend committing to at least six weekly or twice weekly 60-75minute sessions. Of course, fewer or shorter sessions can be accommodated, but you will see the most long-term benefit and personal progress over this time frame or longer.
